We would like to congratulate you on your election victory representing the riding of Lanark, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington the result of a successful and well run campaign. We at the Lanark Landowners Association (LLA) wish you all the best in your new role in public life. Keep up the good fight!

It is LLA policy to support/endorse candidates for election as we have yours; it is not LLA policy to support/endorse Political Parties. Your election has now aligned you with the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario which in our opinion places you in a potential ‘Conflict of Interest’ as a Governor of the LLA. As a result, under the authority of the ‘Special Powers’ clause we hereby revoke your Governorship in the Lanark Landowners Association retroactive to the eleventh of October, 2007 (11-Oct-2007). You may continue to hold a membership in good standing, provided your dues are paid in full, however, you may not hold a voting position within the LLA executive (Director, Governor, Secretary, Treasurer, President etc.) nor may you represent, canvas, or speak publicly on behalf of the Lanark Landowners Association.

History will show your tireless work will not go unnoticed. The LLA will look back at your work as the “man who started it all”. Your commitment and desire are an inspiration to us all and for that we cannot thank-you enough. We only hope to continue the good fight in your footsteps.
